can cry over spilt milk, it really won't do
you much good.
Okay, so you and I have never
captained an America's Cup winner ...
or own a jet ... or own a major league
baseball team ... or own thousands of
acres of land ... or give billions of
dollars to charities ... or married
daughters of famous actors ... or a lot
of other stuff that has nothing to do
with you and me.
The economy? What are you going to
do? Slow business? What are you
going to do? Don't cry. Don't whine.
Don't complain. Just do what you can
do to make more people glad they
know you. That is all you can do and
that may just be all you will have to do.
Thank you Mr. Turner for the whack in
the head. "You can't cry over spilt milk."
What I got out of the interview was a
man who seemed to be enjoying his life
while taking more than his share of
serious hits to his forward movement.
He said during the show on more than
one occasion, "You can't cry over spilt
milk." Have you ever heard that one
before? Do you endorse the concept?
In other words, he was reminding us
that no matter who you are, you can't
win them all.
