CharNor Opens Long Beach, CA
Distribution Center
CharNor, a worldwide supplier of
remanufacturing forklift component
assemblies has opened a new
distribution center in Long Beach,
California. Stocking their most popular
Remanufactured Engines, Transmissions
and Steer Axles in Southern California
gives CharNor dealers the opportunity to
better service the needs of their
customers.
“Our new
distribution
center allows
us to get our
products to
our customers
sooner. We can now offer next day
delivery to California, Arizona, and
Nevada dealers, and 2nd day service
to Washington, Oregon, Idaho, New
Mexico, and Colorado,” said Perry
Wolfe, CharNor Sales and Marketing
Manager.
“We are excited about the opportunities
to service our west coast dealers. More
and more of our dealer’s customers are
choosing to extend the life of their existing forklifts rather than replacing their
forklift. Our customers have told us that
availability is their primary concern. To
meet this need we are bringing out
products to them,” said Charley Arnold,
CharNor President.
Headquartered in Milan, Illinois, CharNor
is celebrating its 35th year. CharNor
now has three distribution centers
including
Milan, Illinois,
Atlanta,
Georgia and
Long Beach,
California.
Along with
remanufactured engines, transmissions
and steer axles, the company also
provides drive units for electric forklifts,
steering gears, hydrostatic steering
control units, torque converters and
differential “drop-in” assemblies.
